Unit prices are only one part of a sourcing decision. Compare materials, quantities, customisation, samples, packaging, freight, storage and installation. Ask the appointed import specialist to confirm the applicable import arrangements and cost assumptions.
Approve a physical benchmark
A small finish sample may not show the appearance of a full furniture piece. For repeated or important items, agree the appropriate prototype or first article, and record dimensions, colour, joints and upholstery before production continues.
Plan arrival before dispatch
Check access, lift dimensions, dry storage and installation readiness. A shipment arriving before the site is ready can create additional handling and damage risk. Link the delivery sequence to the actual construction programme.
